Hint: It was inspired by my relationship status
This is quite controversial, but I rarely post photos on social media anymore. Ever since getting into a relationship, then becoming engaged, I have felt less and less inclined to post at all, much less to plaster selfies of my own face onto my Instagram account.
This article isn’t to try and convince you that you, too, shouldn’t be posting selfies. It’s not meant to judge anyone else, nor to make anyone feel bad for posting certain pics while in a relationship. It’s a very personal choice. It’s one I find interesting, though, because I never thought I would start thinking this way. I never thought I’d stop posting photos like I was in my single days. In fact, I never really wanted to become someone who changed their lifestyle habits — the ones which didn’t compromise my commitment to my S.O., anyway — just because I was now in a relationship.
